IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad is a NAAC-accredited and ISO 9001:2008 certified institute which has been rated as No.1 amongst all Private Engineering Colleges in Uttar Pradesh and No.3 amongst all Technical Institutions in Uttar Pradesh including IIT-Kanpur, in a National Survey conducted by CSR-GHRDC. The overall position on all India basis is 23rd amongst Engineering Colleges of Excellence and 33rd amongst all colleges in India.

Under the IMSEC Continuing Education Centre, the college has established a ‘Centre of Excellence’ with close collaboration of CNS InfoTech, Delhi to impart the coveted SAP – Business Once Programmed for the students community and working professionals.
The faculty at IMS Engineering College has been recruited as per the quality policy ensuring that the faculty members have the background of reputed national Colleges/Universities and none is below a master’s degree. A large number of them are being regularly deputed to undergo training programmers and attending conferences and seminars to build up their expertise.
A major initiative taken by the college is to improve the employability of the students by introducing mandatory training programmers through identified external expert agencies, in the formative years particularly the second and third year. Professional summer and other in-house Training Programmers are run and attended by a large number of students from our college and participants from the industry.
NASSCOM identified our college to conduct a mentorship programme with Mediatek India Technologies Ltd., a Taiwanese MNC excelling in mobile computing, and EMC2 an 8 billion US$ MNC.
Career Development Centre at IMS Engineering College has successfully organized campus-placement-drives for reputed companies including Infosys, U.S. Technology, Wipro Technologies, Hexaware Technologies, Perot System, Birla Soft, Schenider India, Syntel, L&T Infotech, L&T Core, Infogain, accenture, Head Strong and Sapient, Global Logic Technologies, St. Gobain Lltd. (Chennai), Samsung etc. It has resulted in a large number of our talented students being absorbed by them.
The IMSEC motto of imparting quality education is also supported by its academic results. In the ranking given by U.P. Technical University, IMSEC stands 1st amongst B.Tech in Bio-technology and 7th amongst Private Engineering Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. IMSECians have consistently bagged top ranks in UPTU-B.Tech examinations. Ms. Swati Prakash Dubey, Ms. Vandana Mandal and Ms. Yatika Saraf are worth mentioning who secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank respectively in the year 2008.
