The 240 best engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh under 8 grades, AAAA, AAA+, AAA, AA+, AA, A+, A and A-. Careers360 has come up with the list of 3217 engineering colleges of India out of approximately 3600 engineering colleges of India.Indian Institutes of Technology are so premier that each state at best could hope to house one. But Uttar Pradesh,  has the distinction of housing two of them; IIT Kanpur and IT-BHU, Varanasi. Home to nearly 395 colleges the state has very uneven quality level across institution.
