•   Finally university has decided to conduct special carry over paper  for 2nd and 3year students with few conditions.

• University has decided this is a last special carry over paper exam in future this type of exams will not conducted.

• Only fail status and detained students can appear for this exam.

• PCP status student is not allowed for this special carry over paper.

• Exams will held on from 10 September.

Top IIT In India

The Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) need no introduction.
The Indian institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) is an annual college entrance examination in India. A total of seventeen colleges use JEE as a sole criterion for admission to their undergradute programs. The academic year 2009-2010 onwards, newly established institutions such as IIT Indore & IIT Himachal Pradesh are also admitting students through the JEE. While IIT Roorkee has been assigned the task of assisting in setting up the IIT in Himachal Pradesh, IIT Bombay will be the mentor of IIT Indore.
Courses available in these two new IlTs are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Engineering. It is one of the toughest Engineering Entrance Exams. in the world with a selection rate of around 2%. Candidates who successfully pass the IIT-JEE can apply for admission to the B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology) and integrated M. S. (Master of Sciences) courses in the various institutes.
Achieving entrance into an IIT is often considered the pinnacle of achievement for a student of the Sciences, and the lITs/ITBHU/ISM attract most ofthe brightest students of the nation.

Eligibility

• A candidate can attempt JEE only twice, in consecutive years. 
• Candidates appearing for JEE should have either passed in the previous year or should be appearing in the Qualifying Examination (i.e. XII Board Exam).
• Candidates should not have accepted admission by paying full fees at any of the IlTs, IT-BILL:, Varanasi and ISM  Dhanbad,  through earlier JEE.
• Candidates belonging to the GE and DS categories must secure 60% or more marks in aggregate in their Qualifying Examination. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PD categories must secure 55% or more marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination.

Those students whose result status is PCP, PCP(A) or fail can now fill form for carry over paper. The last date of filling form is 10 August 2014.
The carry over paper will held on 25th August to 10th September.
